Overcome Frustration With Clinton

Are you frustrated with the lack of progress you seem to make with your horse? Do you leave the barn feeling discouraged and ready to give up on your dream? Are you scared of your horse or feel unsafe around him? All of those feelings are normal. Every horseman has experienced them at some point in their life. The key to overcoming those negative feelings is to educate yourself.

Clinton tells people, “Frustration begins where knowledge ends. The more knowledge you have, the less chance you have of experiencing frustration. When you understand how your horse thinks and why he does the things that he does, both good and bad, you will be able to accomplish anything with him. If you don’t understand what makes your horse tick and why he reacts to certain situations the way that he does, then you will struggle with your horsemanship goals. Horsemanship isn’t always easy to do, but it will be easier to understand when you can identify what motivates your horse to act the way that he does. When you have that knowledge, you can begin enjoying the time you spend with your horse.”

Clinton will be instructing a Fundamentals Clinic in Hurricane, Utah at the Washington County Regional Park, December 15th – 17th, where he will be teaching horsemen how to understand their horses and how to do groundwork and riding exercises to create a successful partnership with their horses. A few participant spots are available. Information about the clinic and the clinic application can be found on our website.
