Handling a Horse’s Bad Stall Manners

1229_03

Bad manners should never be overlooked in horses, but they’re especially important to address when it comes to entering a horse’s stall. Cranky and disrespectful behavior turns dangerous quickly when you’re trapped in a small space with a 1,000-pound animal.

In the training guide, “Mind Your Manners,” Clinton addresses two common problems associated with horses in stalls and shares his fixes. You’ll learn what to do if your horse turns his butt towards you when you walk into his stall and how to handle aggressive behavior, such as biting, kicking or striking out.
