We’ve Got a Colt

0408_02

After three fillies, Clinton’s reined cow horse mare, Prada, finally had a colt. The little sorrel is by the all-time great hall of fame stallion Smart Chic Olena whose progeny have earned over $15 million.

Soon after welcoming him into the world, his full brother joined him. The two colts look alike, both have big blazes and white socks on all four feet.

Clinton bred Prada, who is owned by Melissa Sims, to four stallions last year using embryo transfer with recipient mares. The stallions he selected are: Smart Chic Olena, Gunnatrashya, Woody Be Tuff and Dual Rey.

So far, five of Prada’s foals have been born and they’re all healthy and doing well.
